Reality Chant Productions presents the new single from leading Australian reggae artist Jah Tung. The song addresses the “crab in a barrel” mentality that is often too prevalent in the music industry and even the broader community, which is juxtaposed in the second verse with a charge on the media’s responsibility in spreading fear and hysteria, through propaganda and false or incomplete truths. Jah Tung calls out the lack of accountability of both the media and those in the community whose success is built upon another’s denigration.
The Red Sea Riddim from Reality Chant is a heavyweight contemporary roots reggae production inspired by early 80’s Sly & Robbie and features a strictly Trombone horn section and punchy Drum & Bass with acclaimed drummer Sam Gilly from ‘House Of Riddim’ on drums. The release is also accompanied by a weighty signature Dub version from Reality Chant. Blaze it!
