The Jamaican government officially declared February as Reggae Month in 2008. In an effort to entertain and educate the local and international public, activities are organized each year by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA).
Reggae Jamaica is the official app for all things related to culture, entertainment and music powered by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport.
Reggae Jamaica will keep you connected to the culture and the heartbeat of the island’s best festivals, concerts, celebrations, events, street activities, news, people and so much more.
Reggae Jamaica is where you stay connected to the life and the people of Jamaica beginning in February with Reggae Month, to Festival season in the summer and climaxing in December with ultra-inclusive festivities and an island holiday season like no other in the world.
The success of Jamaica’s entertainment events is made possible by the overwhelming support of media partners and music industry practitioners, in addition to dedicated government and corporate sponsors who share the ultimate vision of Reggae Music of Jamaica as an intangible cultural heritage.
